Employment History

June '04-Present: Employed as a Bartender at Moxies Classic Grill, 10608-151A St. Guildford

Duties included:

Prepairing all types of drinks for the lounge and dining room

Proper set up and take down of the bar

Serving guests food and drinks who are sitting at the wood

Working fast during high pressure revenue periods

Giving other staff members proper bar training

June ’03-June '04: Employed as an expoditer at Moxies Classic Grill, 10608-151A St. Guildford

Duties included:

Organizing prepared food to go to the correct tables

Ensuring quality of food is presentable before serving to guests

Garnishing dishes

Ensuring food is delivered on time

Inspecting all bills at the end of the night and organizing into time groups

Help prepare food during busy hours

 

March '00 - Jan. '02: Employed as a Dish Machine Operator at

Northview Golf and Country Club, 6857-168th St. Surrey

 

Duties included:

 

Washing dishes for banquets of between 10 and 500 people

Placing food portions on plates prior to banquet dinners;

Sorting dishes

Replacing dishes and condiments in the restaurant as needed

Nightly closing duties

Making deliveries to the kiosks on both golf courses

Pressure washing the loading docks

Taking out the garbage

Preparing food including salads, sandwiches, and deep fried foods

Working at the PGA (Air Canada Championships).

 

 

Summers, July '98 – July '00:

      Camp Counselor at U.B.C. Summer Music Institute,

      UBC School of Music

Duties included:

Sorting, handing out and collecting sheet music

Helping prepare lunch for approximately 400 students

Section Leader for percussion in junior and intermediate band rehearsals

Supervision of students during recreation.
