Hello my name is Gary Whipple and I have story to tell you. I grew up on a Strawberry farm from birth in Langley, BC. I attended two schools in Langley. I went to Peterson Road elementary and D.W.Poppy Secondary School, for which I graduated high school in 1986. In school I participated in the hockey programs, and accelerated fast.

Hockey was a big part of my up bringing, I started when I was 5 years old, and I could skate when I was 3 years old. How ever the cost was burdensome for my folks considering there were 3 other siblings to feed; so I took on Ball and Roller hockey passionately. I went on to play in the juniors in the mid 80`s and later on I joined the semi- Pro league of ball hockey as a Rushing defenseman because my speed and size, until the early 1990`s. I played with other hockey players that went on to the NHL suck as Joe Sakic, Peter Nedved, Guy Carbanou, and others.
