Description:
Ashley-Pryce Interior Designers is one of Vancouver’s leading commercial
interior design firms featuring a diverse client list, comprised of both public
and private sector corporations. They are currently seeking an additional CAD
Technician (Junior to Intermediate) to assist their busy team.
Working with the Interior Designer and Senior Design Technician to create
complete drawing packages, the right candidate must have proven drafting and
technical skills to produce site plans, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans,
sections and elevations from design development drawings with minimal
supervision. The ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with good
communication skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy are a must.

Minimum
Qualifications:
- certificate or Diploma in Building Technology
- Three to five years’ experience, preferably with an Interior Design team
- Fluent in AutoCAD, design and modeling techniques
- Working knowledge of Part 3 and Part 9 of the BC Building Code
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written and
spoken English

Position: Drafter (Temporary Position)

DUTIES: The successful candidate:
- Under supervision would update and maintain distribution
operating diagrams for the overhead and underground electrical system
throughout B.C.
- Produce and maintain schematic and wiring drawings.
- Have a basic knowledge of an electrical system.
- Required to operate a (CAD and EGIS) workstation.
- Required to have good communication skills to work with
engineers and district offices.
- Must be a team player.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will have:
- Graduated from high school plus successfully completed a
drafting program from a recognized institution, with a Drafting certificate.
